My name is Jeff Harrison. I have been involved in the golf industry as a player, teacher and golf professional now for 35 years. In this time I have spent a great deal of time, not only teaching but also learning the best way to teach the game to others. My learning is not limited just to how the club and the ball interact, but also how your mind works and applying this to your best individual style of learning.
Always demanding more of myself, adding new skills help me to be one of the best instructors in the game today. After being away from teaching for the past 5 years, my love and desire to help others never left.
During this sabbatical, I continued to learn how to become better at teaching, through understanding how we learn. This was accomplished by intense training and becoming a Level Two Success Coach as well as a Certified Hypnotist.
This unique combination is incredibly helpful at reaching cooperative communication quickly, which is critical when a student is learning a new skill. Hypnosis allows me to create language tracks while teaching to help you learn faster and retain longer. Because at the end of the day, we all want to learn easier, faster and retain this information, and I felt this was important as a teacher to make sure I could deliver.
